The annual Talk About Local Unconference for Hyperlocal site owners returns to Birmingham.

Thanks to Jez Turner and Dave Harte from Birmingham Centre for Media and Cultural Research, Birmingham City University, we will be using the university's fantastic Curzon Building, for this year's unconference.

The Curzon Building is just a few minutes from New Street Station.

It seems fitting to have BCU host the Hyperlocal unconference after Dave's big hyperlocal counting exercise to flag up the wonderful hyperlocalness across the UK and of course Birmingham itself.

Holding the unconference in Birmingham means that we can visit the world famous Latifs for prizes and giveaways, who can forget Philip John in a child's superman costume in Cardiff?

As much as we try, we can't forget.....
